Just asking if you can upgrade myth armor to blazing plate without having myth helm?

You need both the plate and helm to start the quest line.

You have to have both, but you can borrow the helm, upgrade the armor, and give the helm back to whoever you borrowed it from.

Risky for whoever loaned it, but yes. The helm is the best piece of the set anyway.
