Essences for Plat

oh noes! If the new mythics dont flood the market how will i ever be able to buy one for any given toon if they're ridiculously over priced?! And the new bulawark which i need for main toon cant even be used in both pvp and pve! Not fair for warriors to have to grind for multiple gear sets for pve and pvp uses! Krunch 2 is too elusive and isnt part of the elusive 4 ap! If grinding is what i gotta do...it's what imma keep doing. :l

Try grog beach & skull cove to farming elondrian essences

Sam, I think that Elondrian essences have too much of a low drop rate in the event map itself. I hope you guys will look into it. I've ran up to 2,700 pts but have not looted any Elondrian essence the whole time. Thanks!

They're the ones that fund the game. The rule was always this: If you don't have plat, you can spend the time. If you don't have time, you can spend the platinum. This event has a lot of grey area on that rule and frankly, I do not like it.

Essentially, to excel in this event - you need to have both time and platinum.

I have been grinding non stop since the event dropped. Took a 1/2 day off with Fade. It's been over 5 hours. I've crafted 5 event crates. Js..

It's the fact that I am a working professional and as much as I would love to grind these essences, I simply don't have enough time to do so. The people who love the grind and have time, can grind out those bears, they can grind the red pets and leader boards, heck, they can even grind out energy essences and do all of this without plat.

Again, those of us who play mobile games because they have a 'pick up and play' element to them would like to see essences either (1) increased drop rate or (2) at the vendor to buy with tokens, gold, or plat.

The drop rate on the essences is not so bad. I farmed in WT4 for a half hour and in that time I got 14 elondrian essences and 5 energy essences. That was enough to fill up all my crafting slots with energy and crates.

I had a feeling that this would be the result. 3 minutes of fun followed by hours of frustration.

I appreciate STS caring about balancing the drop rate and making things "Fair", but like most people with families and work responsibilities will not be enjoying this event at all.

As for just buying crates on the market, thats all well and good, but like most, just about everyone waiting for this event to go live saved up 100's if not 1000's of crates in preparation for it. Considering that STS back pedaled on allowing mythics to drop from regular crates is telling of the direction where the game is heading.

I'll be supporting my guildmates and friends, but as a formerly satisfied mid-core player, the direction the game is taking is quite frankly disappointing.

Well, I recommend farming in WT4. Way better drop rates. I get 1 every run, so it's kind of worth it now.

That's why you don't assume lol. And dude sts can't please everyone. STS runs this game. Not the plat buyers. It was your decsion to load up

I have no problem grinding for essences. My things is they don't drop in the event map. If they do, it's too low of a drop rate. So basically you have to choose between running for tokens or for essences. I want to be able to do both, please.
