Dovabear or Little Bear

Which will be better for a Sorcerer: Dovabear or Little Bear.
(Currently my main too pets are Slag and Orion for my Sorcerer.)

Dovabear has a nice +100 Mana and +8 Mana Regen
Little Bear has the nice +80 Armor. (like Koko)

Thoughts please!

Funny how when asked what pet to get for sorcerer, everyone always says samael even if the discussion is about pets that cost a few hundred thousand gold. Next time someone asks for my recommendation on which car they should buy, I'll be sure to tell them to get a Ferrari, or otherwise they should take the bus!! LOL

I haven't seen a Samael in the CS for weeks and when I did it was over 10 mil.... Maybe I'll stick with Slag and Orion!

Slag is very good in PvP, Shadlowlurk is very good in PvE. I also like Haze and Colton. Then I have some specialty pets I use in certain situations:

Ribbit is great when fighting a boss who is hard to kill, as it helps the party land some nice crits.

Misty is very useful when going up against a curse mage in PvP. As soon as I see someone in the other party using Curse, I switch to Misty.

I like Scorch for flagging in CTF. The nice speed bonus and shield AA helps a ton.

If you want a good defensive pet for PvE, Orion works well.

I haven't tried either of the 2 bear pets yet, so I don't know how well they work for a sorcerer. I'll probably have one of each by the time the event is over though.

Why do you switch to misty for curse mages? I don't even know know the stats of misty, so I'm just wondering. I never really see people use misty.

If you can swing it get Clyde. He was popular way back when but is still good in my books. And unlike some of the pets mentioned he doesn't give passive damage so you can spec 5% passive damage for a little extra juice.

@op I haven't used either yet but the stats on dova seem more suitable for sorcerer than little bear if you're set on using the new bear pets

Seems like it stayed on topic to me, I haven't seen a single post other than yours (and now this one) that wasn't mentioning sorcerer pets. Which, if you have noticed, is the topic.

I think this thread made me think to NOT use a new bear with my sorcerer. I'll level my Shadlowlurk up more!
And rotate with Slag and Orion.
