Not everyone uses 20 plat at a time, some people buy 2k-4k at a time, and when you're buying $180 worth, its nice to get $80 off.
I think the one huge mistake STS made (besides all this dodge and crit) is making everyone think they are entitled to a statistical advantage simply because they played for a longer time. These kind of rewards should have only been vanity. I am a founders helm user and I am grateful for it's usefulness to me in twinking, but it is kind of sad when people complain that it's unfair to give everyone the chance to receive equal stats via ring bonuses or whatever people are complaining about these days.
Anyway, thanks to STS for the cap anyway! I better get leveling my 68 mage to 72! 3x Please!
i can't wait the new cap and items and new vanity i want only to know how many xp need to 76-77 i think its 100k xp again ....

Before 76 cap was the event 2exp . Before 71 cap was 40% sale plat .Seems that next week on the weekend will not be capped. Probabaly sts add 40% platinum off
