    Default Helena Exploit?

So almost every time I fight Helena the other players are always pulling her dangerously close to the reset point.

They say by doing this the vines won't spawn. However I've always seen these vines when they do this.

Is this exploit real and they are doing it wrong? Or are they just deluding themselves?

In every case I've seen this done she always gets reset and everyone quits. I don't see any benefit at all in doing this.

If this exploit Is tall can someone please fix it so I can kill her again?

It is real they just mess up (only 2 vines should spawn there once in a while).

Its not an exploit. The vines have a fixed spawn point while Helena has a huge area before she resets. The area right outside the boss area, most of the vines won't spawn unless u get too close to the entrance of the boss area. You're supposed to fight with your back to the wooden fence. She resets because your party is inexperienced and overextended. There are far fewer vines there as the vines who spawn further up in the boss "grove" area won't reach you, only those that spawn lower might.

This is just a smart strategy to kill Helena. Less vines means party can focus fire Helena and take her down much faster.

Often, if people have seen it work once, they feel as though they are an expert and are not careful with it. Once you practice a few times with a group who knows what they're doing, you can actually make it so no vines spawn at all. I'd suggest to ask your guild if anyone knows how to do it, and practice it a few times with a good group. Once you get the hang of it, you can dictate much of helenas positioning by keeping aggro.

Those who say it cannot be done should not stop those who are doing it.

this strategy was for soloing twinks upto lvl21.
also this strategy suits well that has atleast one pro war (at Endgame).

and soloing with this strategy after lvl23 and also having no war in party is dangerous. u will get mostly one shot due to less space to dodge her one shot skill.

War not necessary at all. My endgame sorc and rogue can easily solo her with no deaths. Use a ward and when you fight her be right on top of her. It makes dodging her one shot arrow attack very easy. Even easier for a mage cause you can charge up your shield if u get stuck.

It's a little bit late but here goes.

    1. Get her into position

    2. Push her against wall
She either stays in place, or circles you clockwise, or counterclockwise. Adapt and position yourself so that she runs into the wall.

    3. If she runs around you clockwise and is getting dangerously close to reset, move here

Hehe, take her down against the fence! Given that she's the hardest boss with the worst loot drop, this exploit is more of a strategy and makes it a little more dova bearable haha
