Default Add a Time Stamp to Chat

I would really like to have the time included on messages/guild chat/general so you can see when a message was last sent. It would be helpful for when you go afk for like 10 mins to make a sandwich. Coming back you see a guild message asking for help or something and you reply thinking it was just sent, but it was actually sent 10 minutes ago. Or sometimes I miss pms bc I have the chat window small and see it later in alerts but have no idea when it was sent.

It could just be before a persons name. Example: 01:35 Raregem: "blah blah blah"

Just something I'd like to have included in chat.

I don't think it'll be useful. You can make use of a title called "I am AK" and stand in guild hall if you're afk or just simply write in guildchat: Going Afk for ___minutes.

Thats not really helpful either though because not everyone enters GH to see if you are just standing there, nor do new people who just logged see your msg about going afk. The AFK message should really appear in the friends/guild list so ppl know you're not there.

But yes, I've wanted a time stamp since i started playing AL

That's an idea too! I find it more of an issue with PMs than GC. I'll get a PM asking for help in pvp or a map and come back having no idea when it was sent. Then I answer and the person is like um I asked you to help 10 mins ago... So if I knew the time it was sent I would be able to respond accordingly. I do like the afk idea appearing on guild list/friends, would be nice to have both options.

Right, you could use the I am AFK title but that is not going to help people on your friends list and I highly doubt people are going to come hunt you down to see if you have that title on.
Plus people use that title when they aren't AFK. As for saying in GC that you are going AFK for x amounts of minutes there are people that are continuously logging on and off from friends list and guild. Just thought it would be a nice option to have included.

Time stamps are already recorded so this would be a matter of allowing players to see them. Perhaps an option to enable/disable them would be nice.
