    Default Make All Items Craftable

    With the recent STS announcement in regards to Nekro I thought once again about an idea I mentioned some time ago. Why not make every item craftable? Instead of being able to loot mythic and arcane items from locks make us loot mythic and arcane shards. Now we have the choice as to what we want to craft with these shards. If you want Sam there is a recipe required that is gained through a quest. Of course these recipes are tradable. Same thing would go for all arcane and mythics. This gives farmers something to do with their time and another way to make gold. Also it would make crate poppers happy. STS can decide on exactly how this should be implemented. If they want you can have separate shards for separate item groups such as arcane weapon shard, arcane pet shard, arcane jewelry shard, mythic weapon shard, mythic armor shard, mythic jewelry shard. All items would remain lootable in full form from the respective elite golden chests.

    Hmm not bad.
    It would keep the interest in opening Lockeds high, forever, which is a good thing.
    And if some gold is required to craft as well, we get the gold sink everyone is looking for - the one that only affects the rich, and cannot really be avoided.

    You, sir, are really smart. I'd love to use the Dragonstone thing for other items too.

    If all items craftable, and many people do merching all times..
    Where is the achivement goals purposes should we chasing in? I mean, people play AL will love only to merching and spending their time by craft and craft then sell rather than fighting in elite or pvp
    Just saying my opinion XD

    I don't follow. What I'm suggesting is that all items need a recipe which must be farmed/granted by a quest. This encourages people to get out there and farm pve. The goal is to obtain all the items necessary for the recipe and craft the item that you desire. Currently you just open locks and BAM, here's your Sam egg. If you needed to craft a looted shard into Sam then there is a goal you must now reach. That or you have to buy the recipe from another player. Also this alleviates the pain people feel when they open a locked crate and get HJ instead of Sam. I think this would make everyone happy.
