A Follow-Up to the Nekro Questline Announcement

Hello All,

After yesterday's announcement of the new Arcane pet Nekro and the associated questline, we received an overwhelming amount of feedback and suggestions on how we might improve the experience for players. I'm here to tell you that we are definitely hearing you and will be discussing potential changes later today. I will leave this thread closed to comment and update it with any updates as I get them from the dev team. Thank you all for your feedback, and please stay tuned for news and updates!

Alright, after collecting all of the feedback so far and having a discussion with the devs, the following changes will be made to Nekro and the Undead Whelp questline:

1) An arcane egg will no longer be required as a crafting component. This will be replaced with a different Arcane crafting component that is TBD.

2) Nekro's stats will be re-evaluated to bring him more in line with existing Arcane rarity pets. New stats will be announced at a later date.

And, on a related note, the development team will also take a second look at Singe's stats, and work to incorporate past feedback to bring him more in line with existing Arcane pets.

Yay! Sometimes we lose faith, but in the end I think you guys try to do the right thing.

My one suggestion is make the new arcane element a very very rare drop in elite Tindirin(not in chests but as a legit drop). Elites are dead atm there is really nothing to do but pvp. This will bring elites back and give non-plat spenders a fighting chance.

Can this arcane element be free from lockeds please. As you guys released both arcane pets within a short period of each other, you could have SnS more PvP orientated and Nekro more of a PVE based pet - with stats to suit relevancy.

nice announcement but nothing to feedback here unless u guys give more info abt changes of necro, s&s and singe. To be honest give one good arcane pet for non plat user by quest line or farming what so ever.

P.S.: I pity those guys who hv bought singe for 40m+ lol

1. I agree with what Madnex says. No more needs to be done other than restoring Singe to what it was originally designed as.

2. Please do not nerf the new pet too much. New pets should be better than older pets, it's a natural progression. I don't want Samael to be the best pet 3 seasons down the road.... which it will be if AL lasts that long

3. Good decision on removing Singe. Original design had some similarities to mythic armor upgrade quest especially if people with Singe in stable were allowed to upgrade. People would then keep begging for more upgrades till we got a DINObot.
