Actually I've been thinking since you told me about your SW pet collection that it would be a great idea to name my pets after Tolkien's characters. So the arcane pets can be named after the Valar, mythic ones after the Maiar (good ones and bad), legendary ones take elvish names, human names and dwarf names, while rare and common pets are named after the bad guys (Thuringwethil for Malgo...waaah!); should be fun! Until I have to locate them LOL.

PS. Confession. For a long time I didn't know what Precious looked like or if I owned one, because I named mine Marshmallow from the first LOL.

I have a similar problem. Back in the muddle of the 41 cap I decided "what if I named all my pets deary??" And named them all deary -_- bad idea..

Makes good sense. Blinky is pretty lordly. I could solo crack the egg in elite Wilds assisted by a capped Blinky. A very puissant pet indeed.

woha that would be great to use. Love the names Tolkien made up. Valar names on arcane thats great choise it will fit them. That name cofusion i will have trubble with too..., Blinky i remeber, darth maul i already forgott, my girlonfire well give me sec to remeber...nope...I wanted to name all my chars with names from tolkien but only could get one for a mage, all was taken that i wanted.

PREPARING FOR UNDERHUL EXPANSION

The pic above is the community event progress bar when I left for dinner about an hour ago. Remiem had indicated that gold tier will be reached at 800k-850k mark so the unsealing of the Underhul maps, which opens the new maps and new cap for us, isn't very far off.

Here are some pointers on how to prepare for and what to do during the first days and weeks of expansion:

Early start. Go to Stronghold and take the Unstoppable Force and Dungeon Crawler quests from the Bard there. Go to Camp Boulder and Tunnels of Valheim to complete the quests. When expansion maps open as we reach gold tier, turn in the quests so you can start leveling with 600XP under your belt.

Where should I go to level up?

• Kraag Tomb 4. Read the guide HERE.
• Kraken Mine 3. The one place you can be sure to have a full map any time of day.
• Tindirin, Ren'gol and Underhul maps. Farm jewels while you level up

Where should I put points when I level up? You can max out or choose new useful passives, upgrade skills, or take up new ones. Here is one idea: take and max out Damage passive. You can always respec at level 56!

Should I put points on mastery?
I would wait till level 56 to decide whether or not to take mastery, and what mastery to choose. It depends on:[B]

• What you like to do in game. Do you spend more time casual farming on normal maps? Or run elite? Or PvP?
• What your gears are. STS had announced changes in weaponry released in Underhul expansion. This might change our gear preference and playstyle, and therefore our build. Wait till you get your gears before respec'ing with mastery.
• New map challenges. We don't know yet what changes we have to do to survive better and farm faster on new maps.

Talk to me, Killerxyler, Vigulfr, Lynnsmith, Odeuke and Warhorseman to discuss builds as you level up and gear up in the expansion. Let's explore together and share our findings on Line chat and here on forums.

Congratulations! It's an Officer!

We haven't promoted a new officer in a while, so yesterday's ceremony was a very momentous one. Please join me in congratulating Lugs (aka Lugwena/Silago) for his promotion to the ranks of officers.

But I think what made the promotion even more unique was how Lugs, Vigulfr, Alxesandro and me decided to celebrate the happy occasion.

First we went to Planar Tombs 2 and do all-warrior runs. Vig described the runs as relaxing. But Alxe summed it up best here.

Then we headed out to elite Undim Fields to find more bubbled skeletons to play ping-pong with using axe throw.

Some screenshots for no other reason than they look cool.

A few day ago i went to the Elite Planar Arena with Hail and Markrossrouge to look for the Challenger. The search was finished off pretty fast as we found him in very few runs!

Congratulations on the Childs Play Achievement Mark and Hail!

Then a few days later i went to help anther friend with another Achievement and was struck with luck again!
