Elite Zones Live in Arcane Legends + Elite Loot Explained
The Elite Zones of Arlor, including the new Dragon Enclave elite zones, have been unlocked! But, beware brave heroes. These zones are not for the faint of heart. These zones are harder and deadlier than the normal maps. They include stronger mobs, more lethal bosses and will require the best of the best if you're to make it through. To survive these zones you will need a full party of well geared people who can work together and develop a solid strategy to make it to the end of each map.
Don't worry. All of this effort is for good cause. The best loot in the game drops from Elite mobs and bosses, including the newest Elite Legendary armor sets, Elite chests, and a higher chance to find Dragkin Teeth to spend at the vendor in Expedition Camp. See the breakdown of which loot drops from which bosses below.
Capped Elite Zones:
Not all Elite maps have been scaled to the newer levels. The loot for these capped zones only go so high, so current players will want to spend time in Nordr, Shuyal and Tindirin to get loot for higher levels, and Tindirin for the current best.

Archon Rings
Level 40 Archon Rings have chance to drop from Elite non-boss mobs in Shuyal Elite maps. Lvel 40 and level 41 Archon Rings have a chance to drop from Elite non boss mobs in Tindirin.
Elite Dragonscale Chests
Copper, Silver, and Gold all have chances to drop the Dragonscale Armor and Helm armor set pieces, with Gold giving you the best chance, and Copper with the least. All Elite Dragonscale Chests also have a chance to drop Wurmtongue’s Egg, and only the Elite Dragonscale Gold Chest has a chance to drop the Arcane Shard.



NOTE: At this time Bael, Krunch and the Shuyal Gladiator arena have not been scaled up to level 41. They only scale up to 36.


Battle for Nordr Elite Loot Distribution:
Each of the 5 bosses in the 5 different Elite Battle for Nordr areas has the chance to drop specific items that are not found inside chests.

1. Jurn Wood's Boss: Noble Helmet
2. Mount Spyr's Boss: Sorcerer Weapon - Nordr Jewel Staff
3. Oltgar Keep's Boss: Warrior Weapon - Entomed Hammer
4. Crystal Caverns' Boss: Rogue Weapon - Mountain's Teeth Daggers
5. Hall of Valheim's Boss: Noble Armor
Elite War Chests can have the "Champions" Elite Legendary armor set. The Noble Helmet and Armor that drop from the Bosses is itemized slightly ahead of the Champions armor set. Here are some pictures of the specific weapons:
Gear obtained from Elite Battle for Nordr zones scales up to level 31.
Gear obtained from Elite Dead City and Elite Kraken Isles zones scales up to level 30.
The Elite versions of Brackenridge and Rooks' Nest will no longer scale up. Gear obtained from those areas is capped at level 25.


Elite Loot Distribution in the Kraken Isles:
To encourage players to fight all of the different bosses found in the Elite Kraken Isles, some of the new loot is distributed. This is different from the original game and the Dead City expansion, in that previously everything could be found from Elite Chests.
All of the previous Elite content (non-Kraken Isles zones) have level 25 items, but no level 26 items. Elite Level 26 items only come from Elite Kraken Isles zones.
There are 3 Elite legendary Weapons (with variable stats, use pirate themed assets)

• Kraken Skewer (Trident – Sorcerer) that ONLY drops from the final boss in Elite Dungeon 5 (Skull Cove)

• Abyssal Flamberge (Skull Pirate Sword – Warrior) that ONLY drops from the final boss in Elite Dungeon 4 (Ancient Mariner Reef)
•
• Slicing Flintlocks (Gunswords – Rogue) that ONLY drops from the final boss in Elite Dungeon 1 (Windmoore Harbor)
New Elite Armor Sets
Bloodhammer’s Ensemble - 4 Variations per class

• Helm for each class drops ONLY from the final boss in Elite Dungeon 2 (The Southern Seas)

• Chest Armor for each class drops ONLY from the final boss in Elite Dungeon 3 (Grog Beach)
3 new MYTHIC helm pieces

Mythic Armor is planned for the Kraken Isles and the next two expansions.
The Helms are available as rare drops only from Gold Elite Pirate Chests and Locked Grand Crates of the Watch.
In the next expansion (battle of Nordr), you will have a chance to obtain Mythic Armor (and Mythic helms will still drop from the Kraken Isles content).
The Mythic Armor is tied to the lore of the three heroes.
