Just want to know if he comes as an egg or automatically put on the character who crafts it? I don't want to farm for it on the wrong guy and then find out it can't be transferred to another character.

Probably both because you have too loot the arcane fossil from ofc locks q-.-p, and you also need the vial which drop from mobs in elite shuyal
Pretty sure it will be stashable/tradable.
