I wrote my title wrong on my original thread please accept my apologies ......this is my newer thread and have my fully thought out idea in here now. So please kindly read this thread and post your responses below

IDEA ( REVISED ) :

Requirement for this proc:

1: Must be in a guild with no less than 400 members.

2: Must be Ranked on the Leaderboard.

3: Must be an acting Guildmaster at the time.

4: Must be an acting Officer at the time.

5: Must meet all of the above requirements or you do not receive the proc.

PROC RECEIVED WHEN ALL REQUIREMENTS MET:

As Acting Guild master ( you get A SPECIAL banner and small fire fly ( red color that flies around you ) or a mark next to your name

still need to create an icon that is suitable for A.L.

As Acting Officer ( you get a special banner and 3 bars next to your name ) or a halo over your head still need to create a suitable icon for A.L.

RULES FOR THE PROCS AND ICONS:

you must meet all of the requirements otherwise you will not get the banner of the icon/proc

IF YOU DID MEET THE REQUIREMENTS AND YOU LEFT YOUR GUILD OR LOST GUILD RANK ON THE LEADER BOARD THEN ALL IS LOST, YOU LOSE YOUR BANNER AND YOU LOSE YOUR PROC/ ICON.

LET ME KNOW WHAT YOU THINK.

By frivolous, I mean that this addition would be wasteful (in the context of man hours) and unimportant (compared to new playable content).


The banners alone, with all their filters to check if requirements are met and extenuating circumstances are accounted for, will require a lot of man hours potentionally pushing other content back a month or more. I then dislike the idea of encouraging quantity over quality. Given the choice between waiting a month more than planned for an expansion, and skipping on this idea; I will skip on this idea. If you can think of an easier and quicker way to implement this suggestion, I'm game. You can always wait to see if other people support your idea, but as of now I won't be one of them.

I will change it to 400 I hear karma only has like 400 members so this will meet the top ten guilds at a minimum....the rest can stay other than the icons/ proc/ banner

being a ranked guild means you and your organization wants to be recognized if you don't care to be recognized and just want to play the game that's your prerogative and so be it, I for one am out to get recognized through my involvement in my guild that I have work so hard on and invested time into. So when I do make it to the leader board all can see the achievement that has been made by myself, ( acting officer / co guild master ) I am sure you would agree if you are involved in an organization as I am and you yourself have even put a pinknail of any effort into your organization as to help it in its effort to become ranked or have good guild quality ( not quantity ) and if not this may not even apply to you.
