I wouldn't wait very much longer to sell it.
Helloween is approaching quicker than you may realize it. Soon, most people will be fine with holding off for what will be only a little bit of time to wait for the re-release, making it MUCH cheaper to purchase.

And there is the possibility of a new pet or two between now and then, which can distract players from scooping up a Grimm.

A small supply does cause an increase in price, but not when there is no demand. Zero demand = zero price.

Sell it now. Buy a new one to use for 1/3 of the price.

To be honest , don't. Are other pets much better than Grimm and who cost less.
