Fester?

This word appeared above my bird's head, don't think it was a combo, more of a status ailment of some sort. Anyone else know what it means?

Yup Mummies fester alot. I believe crocs get a fester sometimes as well.

Yeah, I've noticed the Crocs combo me before. I think it's called "Poison Blast".

I don't think its a debuff. I think its like Keeper staff spec Face Melt were extra fire damage is casted every now and then. 'Cept its weird mummie fly damage icky stuff.

Yeah, it's like bleeding. You can do continuing damage back at them with Thorn Wall. Thorn damage goes on for a few more rounds (3 rounds, 12/rd at level 5). I suppose Fester lasts just a few rounds. I have always assumed that healing stops festering, as it would stop bleeding, so that's what your bird's Restore should be good for. But I am guessing.

Also, I assume it ignores armor.

im guessing it does, but the animation keeps going. like with break armor

Fester is what crocs and mummies do. I think it debuffs you eventually if you stay in the same place for them to attack you long enough. From my experience it lowers regen.
