Socketing Gems For Profit

This is a slight complaint, Ive gemmed twink gear for profit since crafting was released. It WAS a great way to make money. But recently Ive noticed Ive spent quite a large sum of gold to not make any profit. I currently use 5 characters to craft at one time. I spent the past week buying gems at 4.9k each. 25 per. 50 gems a day. That rounds out to 250k per day. I sell each item for about 350k. In the past week Ive earned zero grand gems. So ive technically spent 1,250,000 gold for one gem I never got. Seems this game is telling me I need to find another way to make gold. Or pay to win. Well I'll make the very clear. I refuse to pay for this game anymore. Its a waist of effort because STS can't even be honest about what the percentage rate of mythic/arcane drops out of locked crates. They also went as far to reduce items down to 1 per item out of Elondrian Crates. Christ! It costs like $10 dollars to open a crate! Shouldnt you get something in return? Not to mention the possibility of getting that mythic/arcane item is probably on some 0.0000000000000000000002% chance to drop.
But seriously back to my topic. How can STS expect us free players to make some money? Well the awnser is simple. They dont! They want us to feel like we MUST PAY TO WIN.
Well I know STS has their facts and percentages but here's a fact from me. I won't pay for this game until it brings opportunity to us free players. I only pay for something if its guaranteed not a .000000000000001% chance.
You would think with all the money us players stuff in your greedy fat pocket you would be more generous by adding new content we ACTUALLY WANT. No one voted for a new planar arena. We all voted for guild improvements and pvp content. Just realize STS, THERE ARE BETTER GAMES OUT THERE. YOUR NOT #29. U used to be great now your soft.
Show some real effort on making this fun and not just fun for the kids who have rich parents.

An insulting, rage/troll thread is probably no the best way to get your point across and encourage some change in this game.

Present your issue calmly and clearly, provide several solutions, and describe the benefit for both sides that your solutions bring to the table. Otherwise, it's just viewed as a flame thread.

Like I say to the people that work in my team, don't come to me with problems, I've got enough of those, come to me with solutions so we can work out how to fix it.

You transitioned from socketing gems to the Planar Arena.. What's the actual problem?

I see all the people who complain that they lose money from crates.. Well, instead of spending GOLD buying crates and using PLAT to open them. Use the plat-to-gold converter. I know many people who would have had Midas just from doing it instead of gambling. You save yourself the gold you would have spent on crates and save the plat for real gold..

Gemming equipment is not the best way to make gold now, because the gap between supergemmed and clean items is getting less and less. I tried it once with doom amulets and got burned (bought 5).

After seeing how much plat i need to get at least 1 grand gem in test version, i kinda dont want to waste my gems anymore... 21 gem for 1 first supergem

This is the one of the worst ways to make money at the moment and im sure it will remain that way. Unless you have a truly valued item such as mythic ring or arcane staff nobody will bother to pay more for super gems myself included. My suggestion since farming locks is pretty bad now just merchandise with these gems or farm elite kraken. I can make 100k a day easy in less than an hour. Gems are high selling now for some reason. Get those essences in km3 while farming locks and you'll make lots of money over Supergemming gear.
You dont need to pay to be good. You just have to know the prices and what to farm.

Yeah farming is the best way to make gold in the game. Think of gemming as something to do whole you sleep, but don't rely on it!

Today 4 grand gem on my 3 pieces level 21 equipment (legendary) & 1 fang of fenrir (mhytic)

Im daily socketing 10 gems on my equipment

So im not even sure about nerfed upgrading issues
