Mabye I an just gullible, but I have had two people tell me that a lvl 13 nuke Mage needs 4 revive.... Why, just why?

It's been a long time since 13 mages were popular. After the forgotten event they weren't good enough so most of them went 15. When they were popular they relied on kiting not nuking. About the revive though don't even put points into revive, at such a low level you don't want to waste your skill points. If you were going to try and nuke though I'd try something like 5 heal, 1 fire, 1 drain, 4 lightning, 1 frost.

K: 1 frost 1 fire 4 heal 6 light
Nuke gear was loads of setups... 13 jewel thief's/5 exp/10 iron pjs...
I preferred 13 JT's or 10 iron pjs
with champ dmg ring
snipers helm
snipers shield.
toy/candle
crit face
Kite Gear aka (mana drainer)...
13 JT's/10 snipers/5 art/10 iron pj
I preferred 13 JT's/5 art
magi dmg ring
snipers shield
toy/candle
blue face

Around the time when obm had loads of Lv15 copies 13 nuke was good as you could still challenge some 15s (if they didnt have 15 toy).
It's a common misread in the description of revive. It says something along the lines of "level up to reduce mana consumption". Some people think that it reduces your mana consumption of ALL SKILLS when used. It only reduces the mana cost of revive.Originally Posted by Trollish

I'm using 5 fire kite build and I'm 2-1, it's almost absurdly easy to kill everything but Mage.

4 revive is vital, it saves a bunch of mana and if you want to win a 1v1, you have to have it. Remember, always use revive before you die so you get a free revive.
How does if save a bunch of mana...?

I have revived myself before actually lol. And I have 1 rev.

4 revive allows you to do special combo with drain if the skill level of revive is 4 plus that's why some people do it just saying
Same it's difficult to do though, you have to time it just right. I've done it on accident but when I try to do it on purpose I fail.

I've seen people who clai they know how to do it every single time. And some of them do. One mage who was able to do it consistently said it had something to do with lag and timing of course. But even then how do you do it lol. This needs to be explained.
Those were the good old buggy days... Too bad they patched that
