Ghoststrike faster movement

When using un-charged ghost strike you'd get a purple trail while running. When using charged ghoststrike you wouldn't get a trail but purple smoke coming from behind you. What i was wondering and, what is probably a bad question lol but which is better un-charged ghost strike or charged ghoststrike .. lol

Charged ghoststrike is better than uncharged. I think the lack of a purple streak is misleading on the charged version.

Note: I did the experiments in a pve mission, not in pvp. I imagine it works the same in pvp, but have not tested it.
