Farming Locked Grand Crates of the Watch

Hello. I'm just wondering if the locked drop rates are the same for EVERYONE. I mean I'm pretty sure it is but from what I've experienced it's not. I've been farming locks recently and I got nothing. I farmed for nearly an hour with lepre and the luck elixir on and nothing at all. I've been running brackenridge only. What I did was go to a town and do /partyinvite 000 then go to brackenridge and run it. Then I come back to town and do /party leave. Then I keep repeating the process. But I got nothing at all. This pissed me off so much. So I went to youtube and watched others farm some locks. Then I saw this guy.

I mean like what the hell. He used the same method as I did and he gets locks every single time and I get none. He was a warrior so i started thinking are warriors luckier? Cos I was a mage.

AL what's going on? Because of this I lost the taste of farming.

Best place to farm locks is in the kraken mines 3.

Sometimes people just get lucky. One time I got 6 straight crates from the 3 bosses in kraken mines in 2 runs. Then sometimes you go a full half hour with 1 crate.

lep + luck exilr always makes it worth it, you'll likely get a crate or more every 2 runs in km3

A little tip for you is that you are no longer required to leave your party after every run. The map now resets even when you are in a party if you kill Jarl. You don't even need to kill the minions behind him.

I'm gonna post a link regarding loot drops and rerolls. It isn't a complicated system but alot of people don't understand it. Hopefully this will help you cope with the bad luck

I haven't watched the video, but wasnt there a special crate drop weekend a while back - ie: double chances for crates
That could be another reason for the "lucky" youtuber

It's all about luck. Plus, some people use klaas+combo+leprechaun=70%

I farmed km3 for an hour with luck lix and lep and only get only one sometimes. It's all luck based

Just stick to km3. Like people are saying you do 10-15 runs and get nothing or you do 5 runs and you get 5. It's just how it is sometime. Just stick to the grind and it will pay off in the end

On a 41 mage i had luck elix and lepre and i got 5 lockeds in 20 mins =) Got bored so i sat in pier for 10mins lel

You don't need to go back to town. Just use /partyi 0, go to brackenridge 3, kill jarl, go to brackenridge 1, then go back to jarl. You only have to use the party thing once

Your elixir does not run in town..... if you remap to brack 1 you will lose a few seconds every time u go there.
Remap to town and the elixir stops while in town therefore actually gaining you a couple extra runs compared to an actual map.

As far as the video in the op, the warrior was just on a really lucky streak.....

I'm pretty sure elixirs don't stack. It doesn't matter if you get it for plat, from an elixir kit, or from klaas, they are all the same. An elixir can stack with the lep amulet, but elixirs don't stack on top of themselves. Show me a screen shot of your elixirs where it shows that you have more than 30% luck. Because I haven't seen that screen shot.
