L71 Swift Talon, Legit or bugged/hacked?

Hey everyone. I was in balefort today until I got a pm 'I heard you're rich'.. But thats not the point. This guy came to me and showed me a L71 Swift talon...



I don't actually know if there was a cheat engine or bug involved so thats why I'm asking what you guys think.
The guy claims it was the 'first ever' swift talon to be crafted and the devs patched a bug after this one was crafted.......... I don't know if I believe that but anyway!
In the picture above this shows a L71 swift talon which seems to have similar stats to the original, L75 swift talon.



In the above picture here I have compared swift talons to the original L75 swift talon and it shows that this seems to be a genuine talon. The only difference between the two is the damage.



Also you can see that the L71 swift talon won't 'set' with the rest of the L75 swift pieces.





In the final two pictures above shows another slight comparison of the two talons, an attempt of trying to prove that it really is a legit L71 swift talon.

So anyway. To take things further I also thought I should go back to what I said in the first sentence of this thread and continue.. the guy wanted to trade it for all three 71 elites, Esb, Ewt and Ems. Which is the reason he came to me in the first place. I didn't know and I still don't know if its a real L71 swift talon, or just a bug through the trade window that he was able to manipulate but I asked him to wear it on a L71.
Then the problem came where he didn't have a L71 so my friends and I suggested that he let my L71 wear it to prove if its actually a real L71 Swift talon. He didn't trust me which is normal of him. But then he says that I have to give Esb to him and two other elites to his most trusted friend as a fail safe (just in case I scam him, he can still walk off with my elites) but I didn't agree to this as I found it rather fishy..

So aside from all that and keeping in mind of the situation that happened to me, could this be a real L71 swift talon or a bugged/hacked swift talon. Let me know what you guys think.

That's rly cool but I honestly believe it's real, bcus it doesn't make set. It's not like he's wearing a different piece of crafted set because he's full Dex (full enough to not be able to use any others)

I'm sure it's a bug that any level weapon back when BSM came out could be crafted but people were too busy trying to get L75 sets so before it got patched, only one or two people got a L71/L73 crafted weapon.

1 the two elites were supposed to be held by a mutually trusted friend: rikstrife.
2 you can't mix lvl 71 and 73 flying and have it set, similarly, lvl 71 and 75 swift will not set
3 as far as I know this is the first documented case of a L71 dragon master item

Well even if they don't fix it he can keep dreaming about getting all three 71 elites for it. Cause personally no matter how rare it may be the 71 elites are way kooler. And i believe that the majority (if not all) of people who own them wouldn't want to trade it for this lousy talon.
The only difference about it is L71. What is so interesting about that, right? (;

Isn't swift only l75 though and flying is the one that is l71? Does this mean that there may be a few people with other l71 swift items to make a set?

Maybe if it was a full set but I wouldn't think just a talon would be worth that much.

I feel like this isn't a glitch.



The L71 Flying Talon has less dmg and crit than the L71 Swift Talon, and as you can see here, the L71 Savage Scythe has 3 extra armor than the L71 Beastly Scythe, but less stats than a L75 Savage Scythe. If it was a glitch, it wouldn't have preset stats that are right in between the L71 and L75 piece, right?

Strange how something like this happens I was present by the trade with scythe today and the original owner told me he simply crafted l75 scythe and "somehow it was l71". However, what makes me wonder is the fact that such a items appear both in these days, over a year after its origin (due to what these guys said). Something is telling me there is some pitfall in that Or anyone met these items befor, in the short period of 14 months?
