Ok well you have nothing to worry about. I'll tell you guys a story. I went to paradise pier and someone wanted my Big Love (its a banner) he offered me and I said I can't tell him. Later on he made offers and then I told him it wasn't tradable. He said in public chat that I was trying to scam him. Everyone knows that if someone says that in public chat, they are lying. I told him that he wasn't telling the truth. Someone actually messaged me and said Elner scammed you right? I don't think I was supposed to get that.

People like to throw around the word lowball, but most don't even understand the fine line between a fair offer and a blatant lowball.

What you were proposing was a fair offer, 100k less than auction for a mythic item is not unheard of dealing with someone outside of auction.

Now, if you had asked to buy it for 500k that's a lowball plain and simple seeing as how that's around half of the lowest listing price in the auction.

That dude is clearly a nub merc who has no idea how to sell something outside of auction house, learn to tell the difference.

Well we don't get rich by spending gold that's for sure! 1.1m was a fair offer IMO. When people start calling you names, sometimes it's just to agitate you and the only way to prove you're not a low baller is by giving into their price of 1.2m. Pro merchers would have just said meet half way at 1.15 as a counter and go from there. Never lose your cool in deals and make it personal, it's just business.
