Am I a 'noob lowballer' and if not what can I do to protect my ingame image?

So some guy was selling slag for 1.2m in paradise pier I sent him a pm asking 1.1m? .. here's how it went.






Now I like to think that im a very reputable character ingame and usually never find myself in a situation such as this. Is there anything I can do protect my image when people are intent on making me look like a 'lowballing b#*$@ scammer' lol

I appreciate the logic behind your post and its not a case of it actually bothering me... the thing is I spend a lot of time merching and this guys slanderous behaviour could have a negative impact on my ability to carry out trades with others. Idc about this guy one bit just wondering if anyone has an actual suggestion to deal with people such as this other than 'report, ignore'

That is why whatever he may say will not effect your good reputation, I know very well which people i should listen to and which people i should practically ignore, if he lashed out on you the way he did for that 1.1 offer on slag i assure you, you are not the first to witness his "touchy-ness"

as you've said, you are a player with good reputation, therefore what he says doesn't matter

also, please censor out the cursing in the chats...and then send a report to support (with screenshots that did not censor the words)

I almost never buy anything for auction price.....
Does that make me a lowballer?

But what it really means is that typically anything i buy can be later resold for at least the same as i paid if not more.
I call that smart trading not lowballing.

It always amazes me when people try to sell items outside of auction....for the same price or more than that item is listed in auction.
If i wanted to pay auction price i would go buy it from auction and i would not be standing here negotiating with YOU!!!!!!!

Your image is a very very big outcome in AL, If you ganged him, he will not buy or sell from you.

Like in the forums, If your reputation is very low, less people will likey listen and trust you.

I meant it more like "If you know yourself, don't worry what ppl say" so if he knows he's not a low baller, why care that someone called you that. It's the same as real life, of someone calls you names and you know they're just trying to insult you.. Why care ?
