Sorcerer setup PVP/PVE

First off, this isnt a guide on how to spec, this is merely me asking the community how I should spec my lvl 41 mage.

For pve, I normally run elites.
I use:
Fireball - 5/5
Ice - 3/5
Timeshift - 3/5 (the DoT and less dodge skill)
Shield - 4/5 (I dont use the pushback)

FOR PVP - (Where I need the MOST help)
I use the following:
Fireball - 5/5
Ice - 3/5 (DoT & longer stun/freeze time)
Light - 4/5 (25% stun, 15% extra damage & 250% crit damage)
Lifegiver - 3/5 (mana restoration & hp over time)
Shield - 4/5 (no pushback)

I dont really care if others know how im equipped, soo...

I use the Expedition rifle of assault/brutality, ancient druid gear & upgraded mythic gear. Along with mythic neck/ring.

My problem is that I never seem to get kills or im dieing to much, depending if im using my ancient gear or mythic.

Now im usually going up againt players with Samuel/arcane rings & mythic weapons so I can kind of see why I die a lot. Sometimes though im able to lay everything in my sights to dust! But recently I cant even kill a mouse.

I'd appreciate ALL the advice from you arcane/mythic mages to put me on the right path.

Lifegiver 2/5 the heal over time is worthless. Ancient Druid best for pvp. Wild talisman or lunar good. Archon can substitute for mythic ring if you don't have. Must use mythic pet with stun aka slag ( Orion Clyde good too ). In 1v1 I suggest light ice (or fire) curse shield. Clashes I like curse shield heal fire.
Curse has become very strong in pvp and most rogues don't attack during its duration. Spam light fire. When rogue low on health (if you don't know 3 rotation of light fire normally makes rogue low on health) try slags aa and hope it stuns. If you stun you should win. It you don't it depends on how many packs the rogue gets too.

Add Lightning 3/5 (increased dmg, increased crit dmg). Add root upgrade on Timeshift (necessary for elites). Use the build above for mobs, switch Timeshift to Lightning at boss (for elites).

This build is good for 1v1 vs rogues (fire, ice, light, shield) and warriors (fire, light, heal, shield). Not recommended for clashing - feel free to pm me for a clash build.

Expedition Brutality > Expedition Assault. Mythic helm/armor > druids (in pvp). Talisman of Brutality > Lunar pendant. Stick with a warrior when you pvp, don't rambo alone = less deaths.

Why. It only gives 100hp in 10 sec. Against rogues and wars that is pretty insignificant.

Because it regens 96 or even more each time at lvl41
