Password recovery not working?

Hello, I tried changing my password through the Options / edit account links. I created my new passwords, and clicked 'modify' but when I tried to log in with my new password, it wasn't accepted. I clicked the 'forgot password' link to recover or reset my password, but have not received an email yet (no filters are set, inbox is not full, etc). Any insight?
