Hello, and some basic questions

Hi. I just picked this game up on my ipad three days ago, and I'm hooked. It's down for maintenance now, so I thought I'd take a moment to say, well, hi.

So, yeah.

I'm a level 20 bird, pure dex basically... I've spent some points into int, an effort to boost my mana.

My questions really involve basic chat functions, the few times I've interacted with someone have been awkward... is there some kind of reply hot key? clicking name, then message seems like I'm doing something " the hard way". I may have missed posts on this, I looked at new player stickies. I don't like that "new player" feeling, so I'm trying to develop my skills as fast as I can.
