Why do you think is more convenient to run portals from twink and not engame? Because from twink you are able to pay 2-10m purchase the top gear and run faster than endgame.
Do you think a party of endgamers can run faster than any twinks party? Not all endgamers are holding arcane ring or a mythic weapon. Also we have amulets and rings from season 4.
Should i remember how people (twinks) ran portals during Ursoth and leveled up to get in lb ? They can do it again if they want.. Nobody cares.
If i would play from a twink I would play from mage class. Let's say level 15. Let me show you prices.
Weapon 180k
Armor 200k
Helm 200k
Ring ( not in cs right now ) lets say 500k
Amulet ( tarlok brutal ) 500k
total: 1.58m
I guess you were talking about warrior class maybe. They have expensive weapons 4-8m but i really don't need if i have a good party I can do my job with devoure maul.
Rogue class : the most expansive gear costs maxim 10m ( only lv 26+ ) . Below has almost same prices as mage class.

Perhaps STS has learned from previous events after all. Imagine how many ties will be orchestrated by lb runners. I don't think they want to run players to death this time, thus the enticing yet totally unnecessary reward. This way maybe we could enjoy the content more, be able to help lesser-geared guildies and friends, rather than just run endless hours with the fixed fast parties.

No no no no and please no. Vanities are vanities, not gear. The last 2 lb event prizes totally added to the imbalance of the game. Let's not screw things up further by making that mistake again.
I'd like to thank sts for making cool non-gamechanging items as prizes, and hope you continue that trend.

Agree! But that being said, I still fail to see the critical money maker here.... I mean, there has to be one right? In Ursoths it was the E-Crates but here are the N-Crates? Or is this events profit going to be based on people wanting the Lb vanity...
Lol I wish it would be so but if you remember from ursoth's even to get gold (which I don't see why people wouldn't go for blinky) it was 5240. The grind won't be as bad this year but 25th is way more obtainable the 10th...trust me I know I got 13th for the mages during ursoth -_-
Perhaps they realize that without plat farming they can't be demanding the same kind of payouts as they were getting when that was being so heavily abused. It's not realistic for people to have thousands of plats. Those who have that legitimately are maybe 1% of the player population, if that.
The fact that a huge number did at that time, was not based in actual economics. Perhaps they're looking at reality now and are not going to hit us with the plat hammer after all. We will see.

Gold tier was 3150 and ik it wont be 3-4k was kind of a joke because of how the ghost vanity looks

1. Mummy recolored vanity (warr)

3. Thats it

You endgamers complain so much 90% of everything is done for yous and it cost 100mil plus to play endgame cuz yous made the market that way endgamers control market prices for the arcane and mythics so blame your selves alls we ask for is some gear every once in awhile and barely get that ive had the same junky crate weapon for over 4months cobalt or night ocean has been best ring for most low lvls for over a year now we get your crappy crate junk that looks terrible lately it gets old why is everything done for yous we spend just as much money if not more the only way to make gold for low lvls is to open crates and hope to get lucky you get prizes stuff to farm we get next nothing it is not fair and its getting pretty old games been out long enough to even it out by now
