Locked Crates

I know this is something strange seeing as the change was long ago but, why were crates changed from actual crates to golden chests with a red filling? Anyone know why or was it just a change for the heck of it?

Because IMO they should be Locked Chests of the watch now the no longer look like crates..

Lmao bro....we have been trying to tell sts to increase the rate of mythics and arcanes falling out of it........u think it is a chest bcz it acts as one. Sts should increase the fall to one in a 100 chests

The crates were many times un-seen by the people who looted cause they looked like a part of the map

Dark and cratey... then STS decided to make them more noticeable so they re-do the graphics to what you see now with the added firework effect

I see, why didn't they just retexture the crate then instead of making it a chest? Also TBH I saw the crates all the time due to the fact that they were sparkly, floating, spinning and had a golden hue.

They used to have no point and cost 300 gold! Nowadays it's hard to justify farming for these when they're only 3-4k each. I hate it when I reroll a crate at elite maps
