Should i buy AO?

i read on this guide today that no matter what level first place to buy should be alien oasis and you just tag along and occasionally attack and its a good way to fast level and get some decent items.

Good idea or not?

No, bad idea.

Start from the lowest town and work your way up.

K another question. once ive bought a place is their a max level i can get to at that place? or can i just keep going to 50

Yup, there's only a max level per campaign you buy. If I'm not mistaken, your free up to level 18 if you verify your account. You then need to buy the campaigns afterwards.

My advice, if you like the game, buy the bundles so you can save money.

Ugh, I'm not too familiar with the lower levels since I bought the bundle straight away.

I think its 18 after Dark Forest, so about 25 in Baelfort, then 30ish in LE? Someone correct me please! (Royce )

Lots of people get a bit shirty about low level players tagging along in their games for free XP, some don't but then, why play the game if you can't be bothered to level yourself?

As for the dungeons, you'll eventually have to buy all of them if you want to reach 50, so if you're committed then the the bundles are a great idea.

Alien Oasis starts at level 35 I believe, after the ice stage but there's nothing stopping you from doing a higher level area if you can kill enemies there..

Forest Haven -> 13
Dark Forest -> 18
Balefort -> 23
Fathom -> 28
Lost Expedition/Frozen Nightmares -> 33
Swamps/Skeller -> 38
AO1 -> 43
AO2 -> 48
AO3 -> 50 (because of the current hard 50 cap, soon AO3 will max at 53)
Balefort Sewers (soon to be released) -> 55 (58 once the cap is raised to 60 )

Well even though thats true before the capains wont drop items your level if you go higher then the original cap

Dark forest=15

lost expidition=30
Ancient swamps=35
AO1=40
AO2=45
AO3=50
if you pas the original limit then items of of your level wont appear only lower levels EX(lost expidition will only drop items level 26-30) but royce is the highest level

Ew, who wrote that guide? Terrible idea. You should get the other maps and play through them with other people your level. Otherwise you would miss 90% of the game, and lots of people would call you a "leech" and boot you.

It is very inexpesive to purchase dungeons, especially with all the bundles they have now. If you dont want to buy them all, then you could skip Frozen Nightmares and Return of Skeller Krunch.

You should play in level appropriate dungeons (1) to make friends your level (2) to enjoy the game instead of skipping to end game and then being bored after having skipped most of the game and (3) so you can drop items you can use and know where all that stuff people are talking about actually comes from.
