Bit what I meant was let's say you already got 5 mil on that char and go to collect your 10 mil what happens?
1 there is an error message
2 you only get 5 mil the rest vanishes
3 the whole 10 mil go lost
I always made sure to have enough room because I feared it was variant 3but that must have happened to someone...
It says that you can't have this much gold and you can just stash gold and come back.

Also, there is a random glitch sometimes w/ trades that can cause gold to be lost, and comically leaves some people with a negative gold balance.
