It drops coins for beggars to gather around and pick them up for which u will spending 10 million gold. Nothing fancy other than that.

You trade 10m gold to an npc and receive the vanity.
The coins popping off are just a graphic effect. People can't actually pick up the gold.
Only those who risk going past the edge will find out how far they can go.
