Its a banal problem...check time he bought the vanity and time he sent the ticket if they are near refund the owner and take away the vanity.

I remember doing something like that and support refunded me my plat so they should in theory do the same for you woth your gold and if they don't it's kind of silly not to because it's in their best intrests to keep the customers happy.
