Ping unstable.

Lately ive noticed my ping just being weird lately, whether in 3g or wifi.

My usual playable ping is 300-500. But lately it goes from 300-5k up and down, nonstop. Sometimes i even lag before my ping goes up. It also seems to intensify with a group, before a room of mobs I play a bit better at 500ish ping, then when we fight it jumps up.

Nothing seems wrong with my wifi connection or my 3G. I'm sure of it since I've done speed tests and it yields the same results as before, when i didn't have problems.

Could my area be a problem now? Sydney.

You're not the only one... There as been A LOT of discussion about this epidemic shall we call it? The devs arenworking on it and 1.7 is going to improve stability. At least that is what they say.

Thanks. Its very reassuring to hear that its not just me. I don't like feeling helpless and there's nothing I can do on my end, so its good to know the devs can, and hopefully will, work on it.

Tell me about it I watched my ping jump from 400 to 30k-80k. It was jumping around all over.

I had a high ping over 100k twice today. I got dc and logged back in and my sound worked as far as mob sounds and environment but no attack sounds. What was interesting was while I had partial sound no excessive lag spikes. Maybe the spikes are do to sound. Any thoughts?

I'm curious, I have a theory, do any of you play with wifi + 3G on at the same time?
