Advancement Curve Changes for Level 56

Sounds good...the way I look at the experience required to get from 55 to 56, at-least you are gaining exp while farming items, questing, crafting! If we had that at 50 im sure we will all be 51 by now given the cyber quests, etc. Let just hope they keep adding enough content to support the change!

I'm sure there will be some that will want to try to race to 56 as well..thats fine, whatever works for you. I see myself trying to get to 55...then not really worried about 56..it will come with time assume there is enough to do to support this change...otherwise its just a huge grind.

I agree with this 100%. As long as there's enough content or end game gear to grind I'll eventually get 56. I've been grinding end game gear and cyber quest so long at 50 that I'd probably be 51 by now if there was a similar curve.

Holy ZIPPO!!! 85k!!!! Woah!!! I worked out that if i got 2000 xp every day it would still take nearly two months!! And thats every day.

84000/2000/7=6 weeks... Valid point though...you need massive amounts of time and xp pots to do it in less than a month.

EDIT: My back-of-the envelope math yields about 28 hours of uninterrupted xp-gaining gamplay to make it from level 50 to 56, on 2.5x pots. So folks with proven sleep-deprivation skills can make it very fast (yes, that means you Toughie :-)). It would cost you about 1m gold to buy all the pots...

I was playing with someone (Can't remember name, it was late. Started with an S?) who told me last night that the cap had been raised to 56. Very exciting!

I love the idea of the 55-56. I think seeing that little screen "56level" will feel like you did something in game.

Please dont down grade anything with this. 1.7 Its not even out yet and people are asking to have it beat down. crazy

If the drop rates are like the ao3 stories before android. That 85-86000 xp will come to us hunting gear.


The cost to level is nothing but extra time.(dont use pots if you dont have the gold....)

Asommers explained it. Your level will stay the same, but the xp required for the next lvl will be more in line with the way it's supposed to be. But then lvl 61 will probably become the new 56.

Not to take this conversation off topic... But just thought I would post this for everyone in case there was some confusion on experience needed with the new curve. I have heard a few people say they could level 10 people to 55 instead of getting level 56... To clear that up you could get 1 additional level 53. Each number posted originally by asommers was the amount needed on top of what you already have to get to the next level.
