like some said, in SL there's this little bubble above the monsters name, I'm not saying it directly affects drops but it might, aside from that vanity has no rarity it's just vanity so can't reroll it either lol, it's pure luck, but legendaries I do seem to find them with much more ease when my toon is around the area level which you can see by the monsters bubble color, something like green red etc. if it's blank then your way above that level which in that case I think your chances are lowered.
