Why lvl 56 is a good idea....

I think having the lvl 56 (84000 xp) Is an amazing idea. Not only will it bring Expirienced players together, it will:

1: decrease inflation- with all those players buying xp pots to help them lvl up to 56 will use up millions of gold.

2: items will get cheaper: items will be farmed more allowing players who havnt built up millions to get good gear.

3: separates the men from the boys- dhow that you are hard working and awesome.

Cons

1: might bring forth the sewer generation- like the mynas gens- these noob leechers would tag along - getting xp without playing experience.

2: could cause arguments between lvl 55 and lvl 65 players.
3: could cause pvp problems.

Any thought or suggestions- would love some feedback.

The leeches won't be a problem if were not lazy enough to set up requirements for levels that come with 1.7. We could set it so no one under 50 can join

the minute we get 56 only teams i quit the game. i dont care if i have 3 56 people, it would mean that the noobs finally reached 56, or there is an effective xp farming method that lets you bypass the good stuff.

56 isn't going to be a lvl based on function. Probably just 1 skill and 5 stat points. There won't be any elite gear for 56, only for 55.

Oh man I haven't thought about that. Being 55 and getting kicked from a group of 56's would suuuuuuuuuck ... I really hope that doesn't become common place. >.<

as far as i know it always happens with noobs around. not sure about before, maybe ao1, but ao2 and ao3 was epic killer for those people one level below the max.

I think 56 kicking 55 won't happen often until the host is a noob. Only different between 55 and 56 is Crown of Uberness, 5 stats point, and 1 skill point. 50 kicking 49 is a different story. If you're 49, chances are you're using 45 gears which is a big between 50 gears (rift, void, cosmo).

Id hope if they only want 56s in the game they would simply set the min level to 56... unless they get a ego kick off booting.

The only gear difference for lvl 56 is the vanity Crown. So if people get booted for being lvl 55 in the top gear, that's just silly.
But then, you can always host your own game!

You are bound to get some L 56's with massive ego's who will boot L 55's. I fear that booting may take on a whole new meaning.

Easy solution: Don't play with the noobs. By noob, I mean only those people who are horrible players, will not learn, and are not cooperative. Key here is that they do not or cannot learn. It might take a few battles or a boss to figure that out.

It's a bit harder to see noobs when one good high level player can overpower all the mobs, re: Keeper. Lots easier when it takes a group to move forward, re: New area.

eh, it's just not catchy and original. S#@t gen is inappropriate and doesn't sound good either, we gotta make something catchy.

Rat Gen? - Rat + sewer = works. Rat + Noob + Sewer = works too.
Sump Pump Gen? - As it sounds, Sump Pumps Pump the Sump (human waste). Myna's are waste are they not?
Runoff Gen? - Sewer runoff, groudy.. But Myna's gens are runoffs of normal players right?
