I'd take dmg over dps for any damage focussed sorc, especially for PvE.

The most expensive DPS weapon is the arcane staff, that's why. I don't know the going rates but I highly doubt it is higher or if so by a large margin than the price of the elond gun!

Not true. Depends on play style. Dps is very important if you can AIM well. Stun terror lock with good dps kills insanely fast.

I like damage better, because most rifles come with more damage then DPS. Rifles have more HP than staffs (usually), so it helps you in PVP as well.

Damage is the MOST important stat for a mage, its not even debateable

Notice how much faster u kill with a damage% pet......i dont see any dps% pets kicking arouind. Think about it
