    What is better for mage:

    +18 int arcane ring
    +12 weapon + para

    OR

    in my opinion it is better to put it in arcane ring, because arcane ring will last it won't be replaced soon but weapon will

    and by replaced i mean something newer and better will come out

    Should I use TWO paras and give up INT or just keep one.

    That's what I am trying to figure out.

    Not that ive had the para gems or arcane to play with but if you losing intel for the damage I would only suggest maybe looking at compensation some health through adding some strength to base stats

    Put your para stones on different items, because if all else fails you can still sell that item with para stone on highier price.

    1 para in Arcane ring
    1 para on weapon
    1 para on amu
    etc..

    So to answer your question, 1 para per item is enough.

    PS: Not entirely related but, I think a saw a thread with a pic of a sorcerer stat reaching 1k damage with 3 para stones.

    Para Gems dont stack, so 1 does boost your damage but if you put in 2 or more you gonna lose stats. Again it does not stack!

    1 Para gives 2.0 dmg + 5.5 dmg effect
    2 Para give 4.0 dmg + 5.5 dmg effect
    3 para give 6 dmg + 5.5 dmg effect

    It also doesnt stack on different items, it is usefull once per char!

    If I had two para gems and your gear, I would insert only one inside arcane ring. Save the other for the future when arcane rings do get outdated. If you're feeling rich, put both in arcane ring. You're not going to use your kersh forever, but you're going to use the arcane ring for quite some time.

    Actually they run through the bonus damage multiplier when equipped.

    So at end game (based on 400% bonus damage) the approximate numbers are:

    1st = 30 dmg
    2nd = 8 dmg
    3rd = 8 dmg
    4th = 8 dmg

    So 4 para gems would provide approximately 54 damage in actuality.

    Candy pm me in game later and I can show you the actual difference before you socket.

    You never know what you can do until you try
    There are two ways of doing something: right, and again.

    if you prefer to use your ker'shal i think just put them in your arcane ring LOL , since you have a good weapon , all you need to do is gem your ring that's it

    She's right, but one small thing to consider is that every time you replace a +6 int gem with a +2 dmg para, your damage boost goes down. I'm not exactly sure by how much, but this means that for every additional para gem you add, your damage boost goes from lets say 400 to 395. This causes all of your damage boost items to give less damage.

    Just food for thought! I think it's minor. Too many para gems could end up making it so that +6 int gem gives more benefit than a +2 dmg para gem.
