Help with plat purchase

Got 50 dollars worth of iTunes gift cards for my birthday. I redeemed them on my iPod touch. When I go to buy 800 plat it says insufficient funds and asked for my credit card. Anyone know what is wrong? It shows I have 50 dollars in my iTunes account and I am trying to buy 49.99 dollars worth of plat. I do not have credit card tied to iTunes account.

Probably tax is putting you over the $50.00.

Edit: I just checked my iTunes history, and for me it comes to $52.99 with tax (tax probably varies by location).

I don't know for certain but that seems logical. You could try iTunes support for that info.
