The questions probably been brought up already...but im to lazy to read through the posts haha. But anyways why have there not been any new guardians?

I do agree that we're a bit overdue for new GOA.

To compare what one can/is doing now compared to the things that past GOA have done is an unfair comparison IMO.

Helping friends and guildmates is not the community. That is just a side effect of you playing this game.

People who do a lot here on forums, answer peoples questions, organize a lot of events, put a lot of time into constests/tournaments, help the devs, are relied upon by others and valued by devs and players. Someone whos input is considered to be highly regarded. People who have direclty influenced the game in a positive way and have stood out. Done extraordinary things.
Helps someone new kind of like an aoa, the ones asking where to find a quest or complete it. Helps strangers with builds, gear, combos, skills. Gives and goes out of their way to walk someone through a dungeon of boss, answers questions accurately.

Imo we won't need new guardians now. First we need something what goa is for and then new guardians.

These ppl are special (GOA's) they know there stuff. Leveling, PvP, Written Guides, Video Guides, Helping, Reporting, Missions, Forums, wow this list can go on....It differently takes a special person to be one

There is no application process for the Guardian program, you have to be chosen by the devs after showing exemplary performance in game and on forums as well as showing a devote dedication to the game and community.

There are a few that do, and a lot that think they do. That's the difference between a guardian and someone who wants to be recognized for their efforts.

I can guarantee you you won't get it then. None of the GOA asked for a shield, it was merely a thanks from STS after the EXTREME amounts of effort they've put into making the community and game a better place.

I agree 100% Necro. And its funny, the GoA program was hardly known until more were inducted. Then the shields got out and it became obvious, people are at it for the item and title.

All the guardians became one without any reward in mind, that's why they're such great people.

Hello there! I'm ryanfafj and I play PL. I was wondering if I could become a gaurdian of alterra! I've always helped low levels level up and gave them gold to get head start with!
