I feel like we should have a timed run weekend event as frequent as pvpers get a ctf event, its been 3 or 4 seasons since there was last a timed run weekend event. Would be nice to have some elite competitions out there also.

I think most of the people running elite and timed runs got use to this ideea, pvp always had the most advantage, such as lb aps ....guild stats..etc;
Besides We are the same people doing elites since seasons ago and we know it. If i have to go to a ctf flag room i wouldnt recognise anyone there lol ( and because people change names all the time) ....to get on point... I personaly saw that elite will never be as demanding as pvp. and people can see that only if they look back and notice how many pvp tourneys where made.
Maybe changes will come , hope so
