What is a good heal pet?

Just to note though, even with a damage % pet, it's almost impossible to kill rogues. I used shadowlurk and nuke (3 attack) build and only could kill if both my lights crit. Then again, I didn't have a para gem, but rogues just rip your health down too fast there.

Lots of rogues will cry and whine about heal. Remarked is somewhat right in that you will be taking a lot of damage, but heal is not the solution. When it comes to fighting rogues (which it seems is what you spec'ed for), you need all the DPS you can get. If you use heal, here's what happens.

-Rogue 2 combos mage to 10%
-Mage shield breaks
-Mage heals
-Rogue kills mage 1 shot without shield

Your shield will break by the time you need heal, so it's completely useless vs rogues. Against warriors it's a different scenario, but with or without heal you will always lose to them. (Using 2 attack skills, it's literally impossible to kill a warrior. They can heal all of your damage off just with horn.)

And about skill swaps, you can swap skills as long as they aren't on cooldown. IMO, either run ice/fire/light/shield/heal (nuke) or fire/light/curse/shield/heal (Curse DPS/Hybrid support). I'd take heal as a 5th to replenish health in between fights, but it's not necessary in the first build. Heal pets do nothing honestly, maybe healing 5% of your health which is useless. If you don't run heal, just suicide on trulle and grab health packs in CTF.

Ok thanks, that was helpful. My build is curse, fire, shield, heal right now. Up in level 26 rogues will prbably kill me no matter what i do so i figured i will be better off using a support/clash build.

Only way to kill a rogue is nuke. But yeah, the scaling is pretty terrible for sorcs, so even with a correct build and Max gear, it's even hard to kill a bow rogue.

Yep, pro mage vs pro rogue and the mage is toast. Im only decent in clash where curse catches enemy noobs off guard.
