I think lvl 55 gear needs set bonuses. Lvl 55 should offer the best gear in the game, and should be better than a lvl 50 set.

Also, I think all recipes should say "recipe" somewhere in their name. Because pink recipes and pink gear look like the same item until you read the description.

***as it stands now i need 75000+xp (the rest of 55) to get to 56 but why would i bother, i get 1 skill, a few dex and a helmet. I would rather have a life... (sry if that sounds critical). Don't get me wrong its cool we can lvl to 56 but for what? 1 new set of armor?

Why are level 5 and 15 recipes, which are more legendary then level 55 recipies, suddenly green instead of pink? Looks like the level numbering is leading instead of the occurance...

I guess to me there should be only 1 set of elite armor for each class... This armor "in my mind" is the best armor in the game which should be lvl 55 or 56 not lvl 50.
Why not make the lvl 25 armor the most elite in game>? or hell lets give it away at lvl 10. If you get the best armor in game at lvl 50, why go any farther?

There is no elite armor for lvl 10,20,30,40,45... so why would there be at 50 when 50 is no longer the cap?

Yes i know there are pinks all through the levels (elite)... but the best armor in the game is lvl 50 now/still. I really feel lvl 55 should have some better armor then shadow/Void and 56 should have the ELITE armor.

Sneaking suspicion here that drop rates where also slightly increased? I witnessed 5 pinks drop post patch, whereas I saw only 4 drop the entire week before the patch, anybody else see this?

Drop rates seem the same to me, 1 drop every night when playing nonstop for 1 hour 30 mins to 2 hours.

It's lvl 50 elite armor, it can be better than other lvl 50 pinks. But it should not be better than lvl 55 gear. All we are saying is that lvl 55/56 gear should be better than anything you get at lvl 50.

I think devs have said shadow gears are the best gears in the game so i guess that's why :/

Nice update overall. Death and shadow gear is now the best by far while rift keeps been the best or about the same for str gear. Shadow gear can have mages with 29 h/s and 24 m/s while doing a lot of damage and 117 armor to say the least. The bonus for hate is a welcome for the armor and dodge but very little done to the rest and no health given and the rest of the bonus are far to little. Other than that this is a nice update.

I just hope they change the stats on the new gear on both regular and crafted items.

yes please change the stats of crafted items I have 3/4 of str set crafted and stats are not good and it was hard to get... why remove dodge? if you craft/improve an item its to add properties, not to drop some

So the helm is part of a set or what? Shouldn't it be vanity so that you can show off your achievement without having to break up a set? I don't have one, but even if I did I'm not sure I would wear it and break up my death set now that they just made it pure awesomeness.

No set whatsoever, yet, I hope.

I totally agree, thats sort of what I wanted, make it a vanity so it can sit on top of your normal gear.

But I'm hoping that they add a set bonus while using the crown too though, or its just gonna make it a very inconvenient vanity helm.

I did a couple runs last night with a 56 who had the crown of persistence and
a) it looked awesome, not like pretty, pretty princess; and
b) it was a helm, not a vanity item - he was asked that several times...

I'm guessing a bird? Sadly only the dex crown is actually worth keeping on vs a pink. The str one is just bad

I'm not sure if anyone has yet to take an int crown.
