A doubt on the ignore

I have a doubt on the ignore person. When u have listed a person on the ignore it means that you will not receive messages. But ignoring is something I wanted to know properly, how is it possible that the ignored person is able to TRADE with you when he is on the ignore list? (Is this a bug?), how can he gift u items?.

If you know a scammer or an annoying people with bad mouth who changes their ign lot, put them in ignore. I have two in my list. Lol
