Really need someone to tell me if the blacksmith beret recipe is a drop or you can only get it on the initial quest...
I used mine and need another to make a warrior cap. Afraid I may farm forever for a drop that does not exist...

I'm pretty sure they are blacksmith quest exclusive, but I would just recommend redoing the quest on another one of your characters.
