What android phone are you using? My Ipod touch used to crash when I played alien oasis 3. After clearing some backgrounder and multi-tasker stuff, it was fine.

Anything in background can seriously lag PL. Try seeing how it is without ebay running.

I had to have my phone fixed at a local motorola repair shop. When they tried to fix it. They said something about e-bay and PL and a few other things. They were confused on what happened.
They sent my phone to the big top repair shop.
Motorola just got my old cell today. I wont get a report on what caused my error till next week.

    I wonder now.........
    Is your e-bay from Tapjoy?

    There's a difference between background-running and background-paused.
Even if the latter doesn't show up in running and don't use CPU cycles, they still use RAM, and since the droid 1 is an old phone, you might be suffering from the game lacking the necessary RAM to run. AO3 is a mob-concentrated area, with a lot going on on the screen.
My suggestion? Root the droid, create a virtual swap file, and off you go. This *should* fix the issue.
