How do level ones get that fire bug thing?

I can't enter tunnels at nordr, tried going to the flying barrel thing but doesn't give me the option of going to tunnels. Only says "mount spyr" which I can't enter either cos I'm a low lvl.

Join someone in planar tombs exit the tombs to kelys go to the right through the portal back to stronghold.
