Advice Regarding the T-Shirt Design Contest

STS, do you have pre-cut out characters/logo/app icons I can use? Is the only way to use those designs though very carefully cropping everything? I really don't want to do that.

Also what is a good free editing program I can use?

Photoshop costs money (I think...)

there's PicsArt (for Android, and i think iOS), its free,
I've seen some forum-ers create awesome signatures with that app

I use that app all the time haha. But be careful. They can sometime come up blurry if uploaded from a mobile device.
