I won't take one of them...but if you really want to it depends on your lvl. At higher lvls you can choose the 5 skills build and at lower lvls you need tze 4 skills build

First, its not only different skills but also different gears and pets !!!

Thats exactly the point. Id love to use all of the mage`s skills because u can adapt to different situations:

The basic questions (different setups) are:

-> 1on1?
---> vs mage?
---> vs rogue?
---> vs warrior?
-> clash?

So even with the answer of these questions above the setups within each situation can differ:

1on1 vs curse mage:
Several options here:
-> Dont use DOT skills either way.
-> Recurse him
-> When you get cursed stun him, f.e. with slag or samael and use gale to get away from him until curse is gone. When the curse is gone you will finish him with 1 more attack skill then he has.
Another exampe: Does the mage use a breeze? If yes u have to make sure to curse him just before breeze stuns you.

1on1 vs warrior: Does the warrior use jugger and or VB? When there is juggernaut on its better to backup until its on cooldown. When VB is active you need to stay away from him because he hits very hard while under VB...

1on1 vs a rogue: 3 attack skills + shield. Just hurt the rogue at the start and do the first stun after this and do next combo. Bad rogues are already dead here, the good ones drop packs and go for them -> panic her with a pet and finish or curse her when you have the feeling the stacked aimed`s gonna get released.

Clash: Thats the easiest setup because there are not many good ones:
->2 attack skills + shield + heal (when there are at least 2 tanks on enemy team)
->1 attack skill + curse + shield + heal (when there is only 1 tank on opponent team)
-> 2 attack skills (without DOT) + shield + heal (when there is a curse mage on enemy team)

You only understand what shiny an me say when you played PVP a lot... There is no manual " do this do that" ! Its just the more you play the more experienced you get!

Strong work Rob. I've been using gale in place of fireball for a few months and enjoyed it PVP. So much that I missing the speed and armor bump in PVE. It really is a handy skill for our toons. I like the stun too.
