    The ideal higher geared mage. Mages on the same gear level as you (I'm assuming you're a rogue) have about a 60-70% chance to kill you. Versus a warrior however mages on an equal gear level have less than 20% chance to win (barring luck such as failed heals etc.)

    That isn't the main issue though imo, the issue is that mages have no stun immunity while rogues have; they are unable to perform their duties as a support class if you play them like one sufficiently.

    Why do rogues have stun immunity, though? I fail to understand. Warriors, sure, they are the class that is supposed to survive to support the rest of the team. But rogues...?

    maybe to make up for not having any shield or stun skills, I suppose.

    Charged bow stuns; Scorch and Nekro provide shields, as does the rogue's dagger proc.

    Whatever the reason, this season is simply chock full of stuns. Hopefully next season mages will get stun immunity & not rely on a ~40m pet for it.
