Am I the only one getting spikes and delays?

Hello,

I wanted to ask if I am the only one getting spikes and delays? I have a very high bandwidth, very high speed internet connection with a router that delivers very stable signal. Data loss is minimal yet when I have been logging on to AL ever since the test server has been released, I have constantly been at 500-3k ping. If I'm in town, the ping settles from 100 but has spikes to 300 (which results in delays). This exacerbates into yellow-red ping as soon as I attempt to PvP/PvE.


So, anyone else been facing the same issues ever since the test server has been up?

Same here, even with a good internet connection, even tested from distant game servers, it looks like even i am experiencing this issue on my PC. Sometimes, i rather feel that the server instead is DC'ing me, LOL. Yeah, ever since this test server has come up, it has ruined my game experience and screwed up my farming @ planar tombs...

IMO, there's no need to open test servers, no matter how bad the event is at the live-server. Giving a chance to test is fine, but let the devs/mods do it at home...I'm pretty sure they have made feedback threads and stuff like that. But the ping spikes have become too annoying, enough for me to hit the uninstall button now.

I experience it everytime theres a test server up before but the game is still playable. Now, I have 1.4k to 2k normal ping improved to 3k to 4k ping unplayable game now.
So yeah, even its different a server - it still affects the normal gaming.

Sometimes ping is so high but dont get dc, sometimes everything is ok but suddenly dc.

@Zeus Yes, but I only get it in Tombs, like with big mobs. When I'm doing low level elites it's not really that bad but doing wt4 lately has been terrible.

Even though I have a good internet sometimes the ping spikes up and then disconnects me even though my internet is perfectly fine. Well very few of the times I'm saved from disconnecting, I guess this is because of the test server. The live server also seems to be lagging like the test server.

Same. Mainly in the tombs. Additionally I have experienced diverse visual bugs/glitches, e.g.One player is missing on the screen, although his/her pet is on the screen and his/her projectiles are visible.

P.S. It definitely is not the connection. I play other games too (Diablo 3, WoW, etc.) no lag in any or ping issues in any of them. Hope sts fixes this. It really is high time they took care of it!
