I don't have the official date for the alpha/beta tests yet, but they are coming right up. With only a few months until Summer we're ready to get testing into gear! To answer your other question, SXSW was the first time we had run an event of that nature. It was incredibly validating to get the kind of reception we did! With it being as much a hit as it was, I imagine we will definitely be having more events like this in the future. PLUS, without giving too much away, once the game launches tournaments are going to be a major component in CoC and the CoC Community.

Regarding Alpha Entry, I'm not sure when, but STS may host something for T3 Alpha Entry.
Winners will get invited to alpha.

Closed Beta will be for iOS and Android. You can play on either for Alpha as well. Go ahead and enter, it's easy!

I don't reckon, AL is different to Pocket Legends, it's more successful, probably a more lasting type of game also. I would say they would be working hard with both CoC and AL for a fair while, they said it themselves anyways!

Things dont work like that, neither one game can rip another like that, it's the fate & depands on the peps how they like it.

Lets say AL stays as popular as it's now but coc get better popularity than al. STS wont stop updating al RATHER sts would hire more devs to maintain both the games if necessary. that's how it grows.

I object this, there are fans for PL and other legacy games, they are popular as well but they had to chose one and they chose the most popular one that is AL.
I believe that is the only reason.

When selecting a dream team, do they have to have twitter to select them to be on your team? I already did one but I didn't do an @ didn't know if I had to or not
